I got into TJ. Hooray, and I went to the preview night today. It was pretty cool. And of course when things are pretty cool, only quotes can express how cool.

Alritey- since the last time I updated, the anti-myspace thing hit the fan and sprayed us with crap. just not fun- so im not gonna talk about it. What is fun is the fact that I just got asked out- another thing that is not cool- i cant go cuz its at a mall. Yeah, it's Collette that girl from St. John's. Right- I also got the dude lead for My Fair Lady, and Jill got the girl lead. I don't feel like studying my songs, so I'm just gonna listen to my songs over and over again until its drilled into my head. Much more fun to be playing Halo and listening to some guy saying stuff than staring at a piece of paper.

Tomorrow, I have the dance, the TJ letter, (I thought I had report cards but not anymore, they're next week), Saturday I have to practice for the talent show, and I have the O'Connell scholarship test, and Sunday, I chill with my homie Jesus, and practice agian, i think. Some girls checked me out at a Borders, who I didn't notice because I was too busy reading some book (my mom told me in the car... yeah i have a cool mom) I don't get it tho, cuz my hairs realy dumb-looking My brother won his basket ball game, and Linsey, Emily, and Julia saw Caitlin and lost to her in a basketball game My mom got me the "My Fair Lady Obsessionists Starter Kit" and is making me watch the movie and listen to the soundtrack and stuff. Redskins beat the Bucaneers and ended the game like a minute early with an awesome interception. Which is awesome. I missed alot of the game though because I broke the TV in the basement, but I fixed it a little bit later. (Keegan helped)
Yeah, today is our extended family Christmas, New Years, Grandpa birthday party thing. I'm not really looking forward to it.
Ran today with my dad. He's a lot faster than Judy. Cold air burned my throat though.
I went to the Stephen F. Uvard-Hazzey Air and SPace Annex today. Taught Keegan that the Cold War was not 200 years ago, and that it was not an actual war.

Survey
DDUUUUUUUUDDDEEE. WHAT HAPPENED?! First quarter rocked. And then it died. Freakin tests. I got SSAT this saturday, HSPT dec 1. and TJ dec. 10. And now they're talking about PSAT and the SAT and all that and I just want a break. No homework, no projects, no worrying about what school's going to be like. And all this crap at school, with the "I hate Connor Club" started, ironically, by someone who according to Julie, wants to go out with me? Yet another Friday set up to be interesting. It never gets boring around here does it?
O'Connel Open House was tonight, ran into cell-phone girl and her friend. Also ran into people who knew my name and what school I went to, and knew what I looked like, but I had never seen them before. Joe and I were walking out of the Library Annex and I heard
"It's Connor, he's right there!"
"Are you sure?"
"In the red shirt!"
"Ask him!"

Duuuuude
That was a bust. I really wish I'd spent more time awake and not asleep. Because I could've spent like 10 hours with Colleen, but I slept in =P. So since I didn't get a chance to talk to her about crap, I decided to actually update about what's been happening lately.
People are bein' cool, life's cool, I'm cool, we're cool, Jesus is awesome, and basically everything's goin' my way... except for the 80 on that religion test. And my dancing skills... which died and never got up. Just as I got bored with beating Halo and Halo II over and over again, (finally in Heroic mode... but that mode that comes after it is just way to hard... I mean the Elites are like invincible [ you guys have no idea what I'm talking about do you?]) Star Wars Battlefront II comes out on freakin' Tuesday. But what really sucks is that both my parents were really sick last week which meant that Judy basically stayed for the whole day. And my dad couldn't help me with the Halloween thing tomorrow, so I'm just not going to be able to do any of my homework tomorrow, cuz I'm gonna be riggin some serious zipwire and hanging out wit the demon rat (again... no idea what I'm talking about... ask Jenni on Tuesday) Right Halloween dance on Friday. Got there, people took pictures of my cool costume. Got bored pretty fast. Meghan showed up, I didn't realize it was her at first but then I did and she got hugs from everyone except me. I didn't get a chance to talk to her the whole night, and I guess she's goin' out with Nathan now? or something like that. Not really important considering that I'd never see her anyway. Camille said she liked me, not really sure what to do with that, but hey, I got time =/

Haunted House
Haha, well I guess I'm going to have to break the what happens in the haunted house stays in the haunted house pact. It was flippin' awesome. When we got there Emily made friends with the 10 foot tall giant who was terrorizing the people waiting in line. I learned our guide, Courtney's, name, when she let her friends in for free. I ended up leading everyone for most of it. Except for the black room. Man, that black room. It was a room where they had made sure no light got in. There was like shag carpet on the wall, and stratchy stuff. I know this because Mrs. Suess was pushing me so we could get out. Courtney ended up having to lead me out physically cuz the directions that she was giving weren't working very well. The star room and the forest were hilarious cuz Joe told the people in there Emily's name. They kept on saying stuff like "Emily... come back!!!" so Emily did stuff like "AAAHHHH!!!! Connor!!!!" Then the people were like "OOOOOHHHHH! Connor!!! Come back!!!!" But it was cool cuz I was all like "Yo... dead guy... wats happenin?" Then we went back through it a second time with Mrs. Metcalfe, and we conviently had Courtney again. The people were like "OOOHHHH- wait didn't you guys already come through here?" and I said "Yeah, we missed you half-eaten face man."
Half-way back to Herndon, I said "Oh man... I could've gotten Courtney's number..." And Emily called me stupid for not catching the signs that Courtney was putting off that yes... Track Meet
Woah that was cool. I didn't lose my heat for the 100 meter dash. That's not happened before. Also, I talked with some girl named Renee from Blessed Sacrament. Then we were practicing passing off the baton, when I spot a cell phone. I look in the phone book and call the number that says Mom. The girl's mom tells me where the girl is so I go up to this group of girls from St. Michael's and ask if anyone here is named Alex. One of them (who happened to be pretty hot) says that she is and I pull the cell phone out of my pocket. She jumps on me and gives me a hug and says "Oh my God! I love you so much!" So that was cool. Mrs. Wells was substituting at St. John's last week when:
Girl A: Do you remember that guy Connor from the dance?
Girl B: Yeah! from St. Joe's! He was hot.
Girl A: What was his last name?
Mrs. Wells: It's Cotton. Connor Cotton. My daughter goes to school with him

TJ Open House
Alright, the TJ open house was today. I ran into 4 mathalatic people: Alex (Poon), Rashaad, Matt, and Zach (not Spires). I met up with Alex and her friend Hannah in the audlob and they said they would be at the language classrooms, in case I wanted to come by. Only problem is, my mom overheard and steered me clear of the language classrooms.
Yeah, next week I get braces. I got some spacers in today

Stupid gravity
Runnin in the woods for the cross country thing and the path gets narrower and steeper. Then it takes a sharp turn to the right. I stay to the left, because I see that the gravel makes the path seem like it goes to the left for a good foot. That foot happens to be a really steep fall. So my left foot comes down and the gravel gives way. I jump off my left foot , cuz I don't feel like falling down a steep hill into a stream that if someone dropped a match into it, it would light a fire cuz of the gasoline, and try to regain my footing on the right. But the trail was too steep and that gravel gave way too. So I fall on my ankle and slam down on my arm , skid down the path for a foot on my back. My arm felt like it had been electrocuted cuz of the shock, my foot felt like it was going to the wrong way, and my hand... felt like it was scraped. So now I don't think I can go to dance tomorrow... what a shame...
Dance was cool. Keegan and I got in a dance-off type deal with Emily and Riley... we skooled them. I got Coleit's screen name. She was that girl from the Valentines dance who wanted to dance with me, who goes to St. Johns. So I danced with her a couple times, and got her screen name at the end.
